This is a beautiful antique demijohn! It is made from willow woven over the bottle to protect it from breakage. The bottle contained cream sherry bottled in Spain and it has the original labels. The front label reads: PRODUCT OF SPAIN / Cream Sherry / JUAN SANTAMARIA / SOLERA 1890 / JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA / SPAIN / ALC 20% BY VOL. CONTENTS 1 PT. 9 FL. OZ. The back label reads: IMPORTED BY / CENTRAL - IMPORTS, LTD. / WASHINGTON, D. C. The bottle stands 9" tall x 4 1/2" and is in great condition.
