This is an exquisite little antique Chinese basket hand woven from split willow skein. It is very intricate, has beautiful hand painted flowers around the sides and on the double lids and pink painted detailing. The little basket measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/8" at the top x 5 5/8" tall from the base to the top of the handle with a base measurement of 4" x 2 1/8". It is in great condition, even the delicate handle and lid closures are intact. I've only seen a few of this type of basket and most are damaged. This is a very special little basket!
