This is a great mid century Koi made in Japan by Toyo. It is cast iron and measures 12 3/4" x 7" x 2" high. The fish is in great condition with its rustic patina and just a bit of rust on the bottom. The Carp has nice detail and is incised on the bottom with a calligraphy character and has the original gold foil sticker reading: Toyo / MADE IN / JAPAN.
