This is a beautiful antique jar, may have been part of a dresser or desk set, I'm not sure which. It is a pretty glass jar with a lid that is covered with what looks like thin wine colored leather, but might be paint, not sure. The jar measures 2 3/8" tall x 3 1/4" diameter. The lid has a decorative sterling silver piece at the center. The silver is tarnished but is marked "sterling" at the center. The lid has absolutely beautiful vintage wear patina! This is a gorgeous little jar!
