This is a nice Florida beach vacation souvenir from the 1950s! It was made from a seashell cut to be the stand for a glass disc holding tiny shells, coral and seaweed with illustrations of a flamingo and swordfish. The back is textured glass over print reading: MADE IN JAPAN / PATENT. The edging around the disc is early green marbled plastic, probably Bakelite. A sweet little beach vacation souvenir!
