This is a beautiful blue vintage Gladding McBean pottery carafe by Bauer Pottery. It was made in the 1940s-50s and has a wooden handle attached with a copper strap. The carafe stands just under 8" tall x 6" in diameter. It is in perfect condition, no cracks or chips and the wood, copper and rubber gasket are all in good condition. The only mark on the bottom is #565. I took the photographs on a very cloudy day but the blue still looks just slightly brighter than it really is.
