This is a great leather box with tooled Egyptian hieroglyphs and figures on the top and the sides. I think the box may be made of camel leather, not sure, but it is lined with gray-green fabric and the bottom has the same fabric and silver metal feet. It measures 4 1/4" x 7 1/2" x 2 1/4" high and is in great condition. There are 2 spots on the fabric inside which look like some kind of glue, see photos 3 and 4. I'm not sure how old this box is, it seems to have some age and wear from use. A very nice looking jewelry case or trinket box!
