This is a great vintage Badger Brand Seed Sack! I am not sure of the exact age, but this one is made from heavy linen or hemp and has the Royal River Seamless logo on the back. It is big,
19 1/2" wide by 43" long, in great condition and the colors are still bold and bright! It originally contained Timothy Grass and was sold by Badger Brand Selected Seeds, L. Teweles Seed Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin established in 1865. This is a great bag, I've had it for years thinking I'd make pillows from it, but it's so pretty I've never been able to cut it up! I've discovered that a king sized pillow fits inside these old feed bags, the design is vertical, but I like the look! I believe it is quite old with the heavy fabric and those nice vertical stripes which are woven in instead of stamped. A truly beautiful old bag!!
