This is a great, very old hand made pin cushion basket! It is a coiled straw basket sewn with wood splint. The cushion is made from old cotton fabric and stuffed with cotton. There are 5 hand carved sticks inserted into the outside of the basket to hold spools of thread. The basket measures 6 3/4" in diameter x 2 1/2" high. This is a nice old piece of history!
