This is an exquisite little antique Chinese basket hand woven from rice straw. It is very intricate, perfectly symmetrical and has beautiful hand painted flowers around the sides. The little basket measures 6 3/4" x 4" at the top x 3 3/8" tall with a base measurement of 5" x 2 3/4". It is in perfect condition, even the delicate handle attachments are intact. I've only seen a few of this type of basket and most are damaged. This is a very special little basket!
