This is a beautiful little basket made by Michigan artist Jim Bennett. It is made of hand made White Oak splints and hand carved rim and handles. The basket measures 3 1/4" tall with a 3 1/4" base diameter. It is in perfect condition and is signed. Included are 5 of Jim's books of stories, poetry and instructions for making baskets. Titles are: "Baskets, Tales & Travels"; "Basket Stuff"; "A Basketmaker's Christmas"; "The Little Basket"; "The Basket Man". These books measure 5 1/2" x 8".
