This is an antique linen cross stitched child's dress. The dress is hand sewn from linen. The shoulder seam and the channel at the top of the skirt are machine sewn, but all other seams and hems are hand sewn. The decorative red and black cross stitch embroidery design thread feels cotton, but I'm not sure. The top measures about 13" from shoulder to waist, 12 1/2" across the shoulders and the sleeves are 9 1/2" long. The skirt is 15 1/2" from waist to hem and measures 52" around the waist. There are a few small holes in the dress, one shoulder seam is coming loose, and there are some stains, but the overall condition is good. I don't know the age of this little dress, it looks and feels quite old!
