This is a small carved wood canoe with 2 Indians. It has a little metal sign on the side that says: BEAR MT., N. Y. and was probably made for the tourist trade in the 1940s-50s. It does have some damage, the arms have been broken and some of the paint has worn off over the years, but it is still a charming little carving. It measures 7 1/2" long.
