This is an absolutely beautiful silver on bronze bowl by Heintz Art Metal in the early 1900s! Otto Heintz patented his method for applying silver overlay to bronze. I think his shop was in NY and that he sold through Macey's during the Arts & Crafts era. This is a beautiful double weight bowl measuring 7 1/4" in diameter x 2 1/2" high and is in good condition with vintage patina. The marks on the bottom are: production #1861 / the diamond shape with HAMS inside / STERLING ON BRONZE / PAT.AUG.27,12. I believe this bowl was made between 1912 and 1922. It probably originally had a dull brown or green patina that was polished off at some point, but it is still a beautiful piece of Arts & Crafts era metalwork!
