This is a 1930s-40s steel document box by ASCO (American Steel Company) of New York. The green/gray box measures 4 1/4" x 10" x 3" high. and is in good condition with a worn, used patina. There is a metal handle on one end with maker's marks: ART STEEL CO. / TRADEMARK REGISTERED / ASCO / NEW YORK U.S.A. Key is missing.
