This a Parson's brand wooden nut bowl. The wooden bowl has a metal "anvil" for cracking nuts and originally would have come with a small hammer (missing now). The bowl measures 2 1/4" tall x 8 1/2" in diameter and has great vintage patina. The metal is stamped Parson's and the inside of the bowl is stamped PAT.JUNE 16,14 (which means June 16, 1914). The bottom is covered with green felt.
