This is a set of 2 red lacquerware covered rice bowls. They are in great condition, just a few tiny chips on the edges. The lids have carved patterns of straw bundles and flowers in black and a bird in gold. The little bowls measure 4 5/8" in diameter and stand 3 1/4" with the lids in place.
