This is a great mid century serving piece-what a face! The pig was made to hold skewered olives, fruit, hors d' oeuvres, etc. in the 28 holes in its back. The celtic knot patterns, eyes, tail and nose look to be hand painted. The pig is 13 1/2" from snout to tail x 3 1/2" wide and there is some crazing of the glaze and a tiny rough spot on the end of one of the "feet" (see photo).
