This set of black lacquer ware bowls are decorated with flying cranes. The bowls are wooden, not the plastic made to look like lacquer. The two large bowls have a 6" diameter and have some surface imperfections from use and their finish is a bit dull-they may just need to be cleaned. The smaller lidded bowl is about 4 1/4" in diameter and has a much brighter appearance. The cranes are painted in gold, silver, cream and red. One of the large bowls has some chipping on the foot.
