This is a vintage handmade pottery carafe with wooden handle. It looks like it was made to look like the popular mid century Gladding McBean carafes made by Bauer Pottery in the 1940s-50s. Perhaps the original carafe was broken and a potter made one to fit the wood and copper handle? Anyway it is a sweet carafe, measuring 6" tall x 4 3/4" diameter (not including the handle)!
